Three ways a driver gets paid
The quote chooses the method. Explorer shows which one an order used. All three end with a driver competing on Solana. They differ in what is locked, how the destination is paid, and what a refund returns.
Swift
Swift is the path most orders take, and a single transfer is capped around $1 million, depending on the chain. You sign on the source. The source contract locks the input. It may swap that input into a primary locked asset first, typically USDC or ETH. Drivers submit offers on Solana. The winner pays you on the destination from liquidity they already hold, which is why settlement is quoted in as little as two seconds: you are paid before the source chain’s message is verified. Fulfilment data then unlocks the locked funds for the driver. On a payload swap, the destination stages the payout and finishes it after a settlement step, so the payload can be checked before the user is paid. The source unlock still waits on the Wormhole VAA.
There is no protocol fee. The quote still returns the live fee, so read that field rather than hardcode zero. Referrer fees, on the current contracts, are taken from the locked source assets and paid on the source chain. The previous Swift collected them from the output on the destination. If the input was converted before the order opened and the order is later refunded, you receive the converted asset, not the token you sent.

That generation is not supported long term.
MCTP and Fast MCTP
MCTP swaps the input to USDC on the source and sends that USDC with Circle’s CCTP. Drivers then compete on Solana to turn the USDC into the token you asked for, and the output is delivered to your wallet. The docs put the size around $10 million and the settlement at as little as five seconds. The protocol fee is zero when the output is USDC, and 3 basis points otherwise.
The EVM MCTP contract, same address on Ethereum, BNB, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, and Unichain, is 0x875d6d37EC55c8cF220B9E5080717549d8Aa8EcA. Fast MCTP is the same shape on Circle CCTP v2, with a protocol fee of 3 basis points. Its EVM address, on Ethereum, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Linea, Unichain, HyperEVM, and Monad, is 0xC1062b7C5Dc8E4b1Df9F200fe360cDc0eD6e7741. Solana is Gx9rivpS3YR8pBFwMuP6omYqVxunpLvLkNn7ubNyuZZ5. BNB and Sui are on the MCTP table and not on the Fast MCTP table. Linea, HyperEVM, and Monad are on Fast MCTP and not on the MCTP table.
Wormhole Swap
Wormhole Swap is the path for low-slippage transfers of high-value SOL and ETH. It sends tokens through the Wormhole Token Bridge’s mint-and-burn, with the swap details in a Wormhole message that relayers deliver on Solana. Drivers compete there. The winner flash-swaps on Solana and sends the promised output in the same transaction. If the destination is Solana, the relayer pays the wallet directly. Otherwise the tokens go out again through the Token Bridge. Settlement is quoted under a minute. The protocol fee is 10 basis points.
The contract is 0xBF5f3f65102aE745A48BD521d10BaB5BF02A9eF4 on Ethereum, BNB, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum, and Optimism. Base is different: 0x11AA521C888d84f374B63823d9b873CAa3591f55. Solana is FC4eXxkyrMPTjiYUpp4EAnkmwMbQyZ6NDCh1kfLn6vsf.
| Swift | MCTP | Wormhole Swap | |
|---|---|---|---|
| You are paid from | Driver inventory on the destination | USDC via CCTP, then a driver swap | A flash swap against Token Bridge inventory |
| Quoted time | As little as 2 seconds | As little as 5 seconds | Under a minute |
| Protocol fee | None | 0 if the output is USDC, else 3 bps. Fast MCTP is 3 bps | 10 bps |
| A refund returns | The locked asset, which may already be USDC or ETH | The input, if the order never filled | The input, if the order never filled |
On EVM chains the wallet approves the Mayan Forwarder, not these contracts one by one. That address, and the chain ids the API wants, are on the chains page.
